AUTHOR'S NOTE: The Mayoral Election (10-6-09) in Albuquerque, New Mexico was the first public referendum/election since the Great Democratic Party victories of 2008. Here's a side story.

A group of political activists and radical boat-rockers went to New Mexico after Democrat Patricia Madrid lost a midterm election to un-seat Representative Heather Wilson (R-NM) Madrid had the election in her pocket right up until she froze up during a televised debate. The group was in Southern California at the time... screaming answers at Madrid on video. New Mexico Democrats NEEDED A LOT OF HELP!

The activists came to NM in 2007 to help turn a Bush Red State of 2004 to a monumental Democratic SWEEP in 2008. (Obama/Biden, 1 Senate, 3 Representatives) They used a brilliant strategy of grassroots organizing and behind the scenes political meddling. Getting Concerned Citizens ANGRY at local meetings/watercoolers, e-mail/letter writing campaigns, news service message board posting, calling local talk shows on Cable Access TV and radio. A most effective aspect were the calls made to one of the local Radio Free Conservative AM radio stations. The boat-rockers gave right-wingers vital information and alternative viewpoints they REALLY NEEDED TO HEAR!

After 8 years of Bush/Cheney, the political activists had one goal in mind… DESTROY the Republican Party and the “Conservatives Labyrinth” (“Ominous Politics” by John S. Saloma III) They see the Right-Wing as silly, delusional, dangerous TRAITORS to everything the USA stands for.

Even though the Republican Richard Berry was elected mayor, there was a great lesson to be learned from this local election. Like Tip O’Neil once said “all politics is LOCAL politics”...

Democrats LOST THIS ELECTION BECAUSE the MODERATE AND PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATS SPLIT THE VOTE. (I hope Democrats take note... because I've just introduced a whole new dimension to long range, strategic planning)

Republicans/Conservatives are celebrating this local victory and convincing themselves they will win back Congress and then the Whitehouse. (GOD forbide)

The Conscious Man Consultants cyber think tank wants to thank the City of Albuquerque under Mayor M. Chavez, KKOB-am770, APD, Bernalillo County Sheriff, Rio Grande Foundation and the local Conservative population. Our successful societal experiment in behind the scenes political meddling was only possible because of your incompetence, severe superiority complexes, self-serving agendas, shameless hypocrisy and revenue generating schemes. We plan to publish our findings and conclusions in the near future. Our documentation uses the City of Albuquerque and it’s political climate as a representation of everything that is wrong with the USA.

Now that polls are closed for this election I want to say the ONLY mayoral candidate worth voting for was Richard Romero. But I felt he had no chance because most of the ABQ voters are either spoiled civil servants/public sector employees OR Conservative wackos suffering the effects of years of ideological propaganda OR just plain MORONS without the least bit of common sense or rational stance.

So my cyber think tank associates and myself decided to play the spoiled Mayor Marty crowd against all those right-wing nutcases who would vote for a Republican no matter who is running. The local Republican Party could’ve ran Bonzo the Chimp for mayor and the Conservative wackos would have voted for him just because the monkey worked with Ronald Wilson Reagan. (or the other way around, lol)

I WIN no matter what the result of this election. If Democrat Chavez wins then I get to point out how the Conservative uprising of 2009 was a farce. Even with all the bullshit coming from the Limbaugh’s and FOX news types inspiring the Tea Party, Birther, anti-Obama, Conservative nutcase movements… the Republicans couldn’t even win a local election.

If Republican Berry wins (you were lucky two Democrats split the MAJORITY vote) then I can take a certain pleasure seeing a New Mexico Democrat get what he deserves. The problems, scandal, corruption and ineffective governing of NM Democrats was like a black cloud over the National Party and it’s 2008 election victories.

NOTE: (The best lesson learned from this election is that the Democratic Party needs to embrace the Progressive Democrats of America. 3rd Party progressive candidates will SPLIT the Democratic VOTE in the next few elections. Republicans will win, then be able to continue their work ravaging and expatriating all our nation's wealth and resources... lol)

Instead of "PROTECT & SERVE", Mayor Chavez chose to use fines, penalties, seizure, code enforcement and red light cameras to generate revenue for the City. Mostly at the expense of people already struggling below the poverty level. The City and it's law enforcement agents were SO BUSY generating income, they MISSED CRIME AFTER CRIME AFTER CRIME...

What really gets me is how in such a sun soaked, windy ass place… Chavez did NOTHING to make ABQ an example of the alternative energy city of the future.

AND on a personal level, I made sure both Berry and Romero knew how I was treated by the City after my truck and tools were stolen from my parking lot by a skilled tow operator.

The cop who came the morning my truck was stolen wouldn’t even get out of his cruiser to investigate the TWO tire drag marks my truck made when it was stolen by an EXPERIENCED tow truck operator. Or take finger prints from empty beer bottles littering my parking lot after the late night theft. NO, mother#*~/er, too bad for YOU! …right?

As he drove off the unsympathetic police officer PROTECTED AND SERVED me by saying that my truck is “in Mexico by now” and there’s NOTHING he could do? Yea Officer, YOU can tell ALL THAT just sitting in your comfy cruiser, huh... YOU MUST BE A #*~/'N GENIUS!

I want citizens of ABQ to stay up late one Saturday night. Go out to the bars and observe all the cops out waiting to pounce on party goers. THEN between 2:00 am and 6:00 am go back to your neighborhood and see if you can find a cop when you need them… Criminals time their crimes to dull law enforcement routines like that.

I was here in the early 80’s when Albuquerque was one of the coolest places in the nation. Now it’s nothing but a tourist trap and Air Force Christian, military industry, cost plus contract HELL.

This morning (10-6-09) on the local early news was a good example of Albuquerque so-called culture. Ch. 4 Weatherman Steve Stucker at the Balloon Fiesta, drooling over a Turkey Leg explaining to the vendors how they could squeeze a few more dollars from the tourists by making the turkey legs look like balloons. (lol)

I hope all you fools can come up with good explanations for your actions and agendas because CMC is going to make ABQ the FACE of all that is WRONG with America!

In my HOOD known as the WAR ZONE… ahhhh, I mean International District (lol) the criminals time their crimes to the routine schedules the numbed out police force follows over and over, week after week... How else was a tow truck and crew of thieves be able to lift a 5000lb work truck (NOT running, I was doing engine work) FILLED WITH TOOL BOXES AND LADDER RACK COVERED BY A HEAVY DUTY TARP.... drag it down the street WITHOUT ONE COP NOTICING IT???

Mayor Chavez is such a spoiled pussy he thinks living in a poor neighborhood where I can afford the rent is “risky behavior”. He wants to blame the Mexicans for my stolen truck and then for THAT and all the other crimes that have happened to me since moving to ABQ, it’s my own fault for not moving into a gated community… #*~/ you too asshole!

I CAME HERE to help turn NM in the monumental 2008 election and got stuck here after my truck/tools were robbed. I can’t find work cause no one wants a guy without a truck and tools. I DON’T LIKE Albuquerque anyways, so I’m not making any long term plans beyond getting the fuck away from this windy, dusty, crime ridden desert shithole. (I’ve stayed in the worst parts of NYC and LA and didn’t experience the vile bullshit I lived through in ABQ... I stay out of town as much as possible)

Since I can’t move all my needed possessions to my next assignment… I’m going to make my next assignment to #*~/over Mayor Chevez for being a scrub.

See, the Mayor and the Chief of Police will get on America’s Most Wanted and tell America they are doing a great job but the reality is they’re all bunch of incompetent elitists who couldn’t give two shits about citizens struggling below the poverty level. Since there’s 40 Million of us inside American borders, language and culture… I’m sure many will be interested how this city treats it’s citizens.

I don’t feel PROTECTED and SERVED when city officials and their law enforcement agents are SO busy making everyones lives HARDER with ALL THE fines, penalties, searches, seizures, code enforcement, tows, impounds, storage fees, bail bonds, court costs, attorney costs, etc… OHHH except those rich or well-connected enough to BEAT THE RAP!

Someone should tell Mayor Marty his $200,000 security detail can’t protect him from the TRUTH!

COME ON! You Tea Partiers make me laugh… All you FOX Spin… ahhh I mean News inspired political experts (sic) want to change National Policy and you fools can’t even get rid of local Democrats like Mayor Marty Chavez. I’ve heard you pussies whining about taxes and red light cameras but you are NOT able to get rid of these corrupt New Mexico Democrats. The Democrats in NM have been a black eye to the National Party and the successes of the 2008 election. They should all just go away but there isn't a group in Albuquerque with the HEAVOS to get rid of them...

Maybe the PEOPLE of Albuquerque can tell me something because I’m not getting IT! What is your fascination with Mayor Marty Chavez? Is it the boyish good looks and laid back manner all the voters have a man crush on?

I’ve been in ABQ for about 2 years and I still can’t figure out anything good this guy and his dumb brother have done. I see him at all the best parties/gatherings around town with a SEXY, big lipped woman, is SHE part of that $177,000 a year security detail? Every TIME making patronizing speeches to whatever group he’s with that day… And there’s the Red Light Camera revenue generating, surveillance system he put in to CONTROL the population. But beyond that WHERE’S #*~/’n THE BEEF?

NOTE: According to those that help the homeless such as "Brother Ralph", Mayor Chavez HATES THE POOR!

I don’t see any strengths, creativity or innovative thinking involved with Mayor Marty Chavez that would get him a job with the Obama/Biden Administration. Really, this man is Mayor of a windy @$$, sun soaked city but he’s put NOTHING into making ABQ an alternative energy City of the FUTURE!

Albuquerque’s infrastructure maintenance, flood control and Urban planning looks like the work of 5th graders. AND Mayor Chavez oversaw a police department who IGNORED an CRIME/auto theft problem that makes Newark, New Jersey look like Disneyland AND FAILED TO WARN IT’S CITIZENS. That is UNTIL I started making a big deal about this huge problem after my truck window was shot out by a BB gun… And before I could get over THAT, the truck was was stolen by a scandalous but skilled tow truck operator… SO I’M TAKING IT PERSONAL Mayor Mo Fo cause your PD FAILED TO CATCH THE PERPETRATOR AND I GOT NO ONE ELSE TO BLAME!

For the remainder of my time in ABQ I’m going to do everything possible to make sure Marty Chavez couldn’t be elected dog catcher in Cucamonga….

"I’m going to play devils advocate here because I’d like to get the Mayor Chavez view on what I’m saying because he knows Albuquerque better than I.

We’ve all seen how ABQ treats it’s troubled, desperate young women buried out on the WEST MESA. This is a direct result of incompetent police action, city hall, ZIA Pueblo and the general public not caring. NOBODY SEEMED TO CARE ABOUT WHEN THESE POOR WOMEN WERE OUT ON THE STREET. You drive by them everyday on the Westside, on Central Ave and in the WAR ZONE... ahhh, I mean International District (lol)

Poor Baby Angel’s young mother Tiffany Toribio getting kicked to the curb by both family and friends… Probably taken advantage of by local unsympathetic gang members, drug dealers and pimps. Led to believe in this failing economy she was worth NADA! Wandering the HARD streets of ABQ with a young child, in her sick, twisted mind NO ONE TO HELP . The Mayor says there’s HELP available but I done a lot of walking and don’t see any signs of help out on the streets where many of ABQ males are talking advantage of these young women on a daily basis…"

"COME ON! What were talking about here is a culture that exists at City Hall and Albuquerque PD that puts more empathy on the city’s stray dogs and cats than it does on troubled young women. Any other time I might have given them a pass but we’re talking about ANOTHER sad story that’s riding the coat tails of all those young women buried out on the West Mesa. I guess all the cops were TOO busy trying to look good for Americas Most Wanted (FOX) to realize maybe MORE ATTENTION SHOULD BE PAID TO POLICY CONCERNING these girls/women walking the mean streets of ABQ. You can slant this story any way you people want but that doesn’t forgive the fact that a hell of a lot of Tiffany Toribio’s family, friends, pimps, drug dealers, the Mayor and local cops seemed to miss ALL THE SIGNS!"

Maybe after all this recent tragedy concerning young women CITY HALL could start a rescue program for ABQ’s adorable, adoptable meth/crack Ho’s…

NOTE: This young mother and her child were the best example of the need for FREE CHOICE! Two generations of unwanted children who would have been better off not even being born…

It’s funny, all the stiff so-called Christian churches in ABQ and this poor young women and her baby couldn’t find the least bit of VIRTUE? So LOST in this uncaring society and it’s economic condition she thought it was a GOOD idea to smother her baby boy and bury him in the sand to save him from the kind of life she had struggled through…

It’s like what Randi Rhodes always says about the Pro-lifers: “Love the fetus, not so much the child”.
